3 reasons why you need this purple deep conditioning mask
1. Neutralises brassy or yellow tones in light coloured hair
The purple pigment in the mask counteracts the yellow and orange tones, helping to maintain a cooler, more ashy or platinum appearance.
This colour-correcting effect is due to the colour wheel theory, where purple and yellow are opposite each other, thus canceling each other out when applied to hair.
2. Moisturises and conditions
Unlike purple shampoos (which dry out your hair) this mask is formulated with lightweight hydrating ingredients such as coconut and birch extracts.
It'll intensely moisturise dry and damaged strands. Helping to restore softness, elasticity, and shine.
It's especially beneficial for bleached or lightened hair, which can become particularly dry and brittle.
