Secretly Wavy Competition – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Merwave Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13063401) with its registered office at 246 Park View, Whitley Bay, NE26 3QX (“Merwave”).

2. Eligibility

2.1 The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 and over.
2.2 No purchase is necessary to enter.

3. Entry Period

3.1 The competition opens at 00:00 on 23rd April 2026.
3.2 The competition closes at 11:59pm on 31st May 2026.
3.3 Entries submitted after this time will not be considered.

4. How to Enter

4.1 To enter, participants must:

• Post a video sharing their wavy hair journey
• Include the hashtag #secretlywavy
• Tag @merwave
• Have a public profile so the entry is visible

4.2 Entries can be submitted via Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok.

5. Content Usage

5.1 By entering, participants grant Merwave a royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, edit, and share their content across social media, website, paid advertising, and marketing materials.

6. Winner Selection

6.1 One winner will be selected by the Merwave team based on:

• Creativity
• Authenticity
• Emotional impact

6.2 All entries will be judged fairly and the decision of the judging panel is final.

7. Prize

7.1 The winner will receive a £500 Merwave voucher.
7.2 The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternatives.
7.3 The voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of activation.

8. Winner Notification

8.1 The winner will be contacted via direct message from @merwave within 7 days of the competition closing date.
8.2 If the winner does not respond within 5 days, Merwave reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
8.3 The winner will be announced via Merwave’s social media channels.

9. General

9.1 Entries that are incomplete, inappropriate, offensive, or fraudulent will be disqualified.
9.2 Merwave reserves the right to remove or refuse any entry that does not comply with these terms or the spirit of the campaign.
9.3 Merwave is not responsible for entries not received due to technical issues, platform failures, or connectivity problems.
